SINGARA RECIPE

Ingredients

DOUGH PREPARATION

• PLAIN FLOUR 4 CUP (MAIDA)

• BLACK SEED 1 TSPN (KALO JEERA)

• WATER AS PER REQUIREMENT (PANI)

• COOKING OIL AS PER REQUIREMENT (TEL)

• SALT AS PER TASTE (LOBON)

VEGETABLE STAFFING

• CARROT 1 LARGE CHOPPED (GAJOR)

• POTATO 3PCS MEDIUM CHOPPED (ALU)

• ONION 2 PCS MEDIUM CHOPPED (PIAZ)

• 5 FORON 1 TSPN (CUMIN, FENUGEEK, MUSTARD, NIGELLA, FENNEL)

• GINGER GARLIC PASTE 1TBSN (ADA ROSHUN BATA)

• TURMERIC POWDER 1TSPN (HOLUDER GURA)

• GREEN CHILLI CHOPPED 2TBSPN (KACHA MORUCH KUCHI)

• PEANUT HALF CUP (CHINA BADAM)

• GREEN CHILI CHOPPED 1 TBSPN (KACHA MORICH KUCHI)

• COOKING OIL (TEL)

• SALT AS PER TASTE (LOBON)

FRYING

• COOKING OIL (TEL)

COOKING PROCESS

DOUGH

• TAKE THE PLAIN FLOUR, BLACK SEED, WATER, COOKING OIL AND SALT IN A LARGE BOWL AND MIX IT
VERY WELL TO FORM A DOUGH.

• WRAP THE DOUGH WITH A THIN FILM AND REST IN FOR AN HOUR.

VEGETABLE STAFFING

• PEEL THE CARROT, POTATO AND ONION SKIN

• CUT THE CARROT AND POTATO INTO LITTLE CUBES

• CHOP THE ONIONS

• PUT COOKING OIL ON A FRYING PAN

• PUT ON PACH FORON (CUMIN, FENUGEEK, MUSTARD, NIGELLA, FENNEL) AND FRY FOR 7-10 SECS

• PUT THE GINGER GARLIC PASTE AND TURMERIC POWDER AND FRY FOR FEW SECONDS

• NOW PUT THE CHOPPED CARROT, POTATO AND ONION

• KEEP STIRRING WELL AND ADD CHOPPED GREEN CHILLI

• COVER THE LID & WAIT UNTIL BOILED

• ONCE BOILED AND SOFT TAKE THE COOKED VEGETABLES ON A PLATE

• PUT PEANUT, CHOPPED GREEN CHILLI & ONION OVER THE VEGETABLE AND MIX WELL

• LET IT COOL

MAKING SINGARA

• TAKE THE DOUGH WHICH WAS RESTING FOR 1 HOUR

• KNEAD THE DOUGH WELL

• START MAKING SMALL PIECES TO ROLL

• ROLL OUT THE SMALL PIECES AND CUT FORM THE MIDDLE TO MAKE 2 WRAPS

• ROLL THE WRAPS IN THE FORM OF A CONE

• PUT THE VEGETABLE MIX ON THE CONE

• CLOSE THE CONE BY FORMING THE SHAPE OF A SINGARA

• IT IS NOW READY TO FRY!!

FRYING

• PUT THE SINGARA ON HOT OIL

• KEEP FOLDING GENTLY

• FRY FOR 5-8 MINS UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN

YOUR DELICIOUS SINGARA IS READY TO SERVE
